Tiago, born in Almada, Portugal, studied classical and contemporary dance in Lisbon and attended the PÎle National Supérieure de Danse Rosella Hightower in France. During this time, he had the opportunity to observe rehearsals at Ballet BC and Ballett Theater Basel. In addition to his studies, he participated in several workshops and productions/projects where he explored various movement languages such as Gaga, Flying Low, and Contact Improvisation, learning from renowned national and international artists including Olga Roriz, Vasco Wellenkamp, Jiri Pokorny, Marne Van Opstal, and Po-Chen Tsai.
