Britta Bremer

Britta Bremer, 1977 in Niedersachsen geboren, schloss 2003 ihr Architekturstudium an der TU Braunschweig ab und erwarb 2005 den Master of Arts fĂŒr BĂŒhne und Bild an der TU Berlin. Nach ersten Assistenzen folgte die SelbststĂ€ndigkeit mit eigenen Premieren. Von 2011 bis 2014 war sie als Ausstattungs- und Werkstattleitung am Gerhart Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau tĂ€tig. Heute arbeitet sie wieder freischaffend in BĂŒhne und KostĂŒm fĂŒr Theater, Tanz und Kabarett. 2020 gewann sie mit Hannah und der Punk das Best OFF Festival Freier Theater.

Carolina Collado

Architektin

Architektin, die sich in ihrer beruflichen Praxis dem BĂŒhnenbild und der kĂŒnstlerischen Leitung widmet. In den letzten Jahren hat sie unabhĂ€ngig an Theater-, audiovisuellen und fotografischen Projekten gearbeitet, wie z. B. dem TanzstĂŒck Black Sun, dem Megane Mercury Fashion Editorial oder dem TheaterstĂŒck Chiasmus.
Carolina interessiert sich fĂŒr die Beziehung von Tanz und Theater zum Raum und zur Architektur. Derzeit entwickelt sie ihre Forschungen zu choreografischen Objekten, in denen sie Choreografie und Szenografie, Bewegungen und Objekte, Körper und Raum untersucht; wie Objekte choreografische BewegungsablĂ€ufe definieren und begrenzen.

Rena Donsbach

Art history, media culture, and stage designer.

Rena Donsbach studied art history, media culture, and stage design in Hamburg and Marseille, supported by the Karl H. Ditze Foundation. After working on set designs in Hamburg, Berlin, Paris, and Florence, she assisted renowned designers such as Raimund Bauer, Andrea Schmidt-Futterer, and Olaf Altmann at prestigious opera houses including Geneva, Zurich, Dresden, and Salzburg. She worked on spatial installations with “Von dritten RĂ€umen” and designed sets for short films. Together with Renate Martin, she created costumes for Die Fledermaus and My Fair Lady. Since 2016, she has been collaborating with Helge Letonja and steptext.

Anke Euler

Dramaturg

Since 2012, Anke Euler has been a dance dramaturg at steptext dance project, overseeing the productions of Helge Letonja as well as guest choreographers. She develops supporting programs, collaborations, and curates festivals such as Baila España and AFRICTIONS. Her focus is on interdisciplinary formats between art, science, and society, as well as dance education for diverse target groups. She studied dramaturgy, French philology, and philosophy in Munich and previously worked with Micha Purucker, co>labs, and the RODEO Festival, among others. She is currently a jury member for dance projects in Munich.

Simon Goff

Composer

Simon Goff is a versatile violinist who combines acoustic and electronic sounds. After performing in northern England, he learned from session bassist Herbie Flowers. In Berlin, he developed his unique sound world, ranging from intimate fragility to cinematic soundscapes. He has worked with artists such as Andrea Belfi, Peter Broderick, and Xiu Xiu, and performed in Berlin, Hamburg, and London. As a musician, producer, and sound engineer, he has composed for theater, dance, and film, including Chernobyl, Joker, and in close collaboration with Helge Letonja for the productions Turbulence, On the Shoulders of Giants, and Momentum Zero.

Luca Guarini

Creative director and stylist

Luca Guarini, born in 1986 in Taranto. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, he moved to Madrid to begin his career as an artist. Since 2011, he has been leading DUST MAGAZINE, based in Berlin, where he is the founder and editor-in-chief. Additionally, Luca Guarini works as a freelance creative director and stylist in a variety of contexts.

Lena Kirschberger

Costume and fashion designer

Lena Kirschberger, a costume and fashion designer from Hamburg, stages her work for theater, film, and photography with a focus on emotional narratives. After training as a men’s tailor, she studied Integrated Design with a focus on fashion design at HfK Bremen and assisted, among others, Victoria Behr. With her final project MESH, she won the title of “best new talent” at the 2019 Copenhagen Fashion Film Festival. Since 2019, she has been studying costume design at HAW Hamburg under Reinhardt von der Thannen and creates costume designs for dance and theater, including Die Hamletmaschine.

Min Li

Creative director and stylist

Min Li began his career as a dancer with the Chinese National Ballet, Batsheva Ensemble, and Scapino Ballet Rotterdam. In 2013, he turned to studying fashion and textile design at the Royal Academy of Arts (KABK). His experience in dance shapes his understanding of the body and movement in design. Through working with various textiles, he expands his creative expression. Since starting as a designer, Min has collaborated with choreographers at renowned venues such as the Hannover State Opera, Korzo The Hague, and the city theaters in Lucerne, Kiel, and Regensburg.

Marianne Menke

Photographer

Marianne Menke studied photography in Paris (UniversitĂ© Paris VIII), at the University of Applied Sciences for Design Hamburg, and at the University of the Arts Bremen, where she completed her graphic design studies with a thesis on traveling circuses. Since then, she has worked freelance with a focus on dance and theater photography, including for the bremer shakespeare company, Of Curious Nature, BĂŒhne Cipolla, and Familie Flöz. She also carries out socio-cultural projects with Quartier, Kultur vor Ort, and the Federal Cultural Foundation. She has been collaborating with Of Curious Nature since the beginning and received the Dis-Tanz Solo Scholarship in 2021.

Miguel MarĂ­n

Musikkomponist

Miguel Marín ist Musikkomponist mit umfassender Erfahrung in unabhÀngiger Musik, Tanz und Film. In den 1990er Jahren war er Mitglied der einflussreichen Londoner Indie-Band Piano Magic, mit der er zahlreiche Aufnahmen realisierte. SpÀter wandte er sich der Komposition von Soundtracks und experimenteller Musik zu. Heute arbeitet er mit internationalen Tanzkompanien wie Thomas Noone, Lali Ayguadé, Guy Nader & Maria Campos, Xie Xin Dance Theatre und Frantics Dance Company zusammen und komponiert Filmmusik. Seine Werke, besonders im Tanzbereich, wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet und international prÀsentiert.

Nicole Reiher

Fashion designer

Nicole Reiher is a trained fashion tailor with her own studio in Leipzig. As a fashion designer, she is not only part of WYST by Yaenniver but also creates her own collections under her label COSMICSTARLIGHT. She describes her artistic focus as creating worlds that were previously hidden, with their own intensity and freedom. For Helge Letonja’s 2023 production A Late Summer Night’s Dream, she designed the costumes.

Rike Schimitschek

KostĂŒmbildnerin

Rike Schimitschek studierte Design an der Hochschule fĂŒr KĂŒnste Bremen und begann ihre Laufbahn als Ausstattungsassistentin an der bremer shakespeare company, wo sie seit 2018 als feste KostĂŒm- und BĂŒhnenbildnerin arbeitet. 2018 entstand mit „Audition for Life/Art“ im Rahmen von „Sehnsucht Europa“ ihre erste Zusammenarbeit mit Helge Letonja. Es folgten KostĂŒmbilder fĂŒr „Turbulence“ (2019) von steptext dance project sowie fĂŒr Of Curious Nature: „Songs of Love and Bones“ (2021, Helge Letonja) und „Adrift/The Resonance“ (2021, Felix Landerer/Helge Letonja).

Laurent Schneegans

Lighting design

Laurent Schneegans, born in Paris, began his career in 1983 as a lighting technician and tour manager after completing his studies. He ran his own photography studio before taking on lighting design for opera, theater, and street art productions. Since 1996, he has regularly collaborated with choreographer Paco DĂšcina on internationally touring dance productions. Since 1998, he has been conducting workshops on lighting design. He has been working with Helge Letonja since 2009, including on productions such as DISPLACING Future, Zwei Giraffen tanzen Tango, PrĂ©ludes, Ort/Un-zeit, and currently A Late Summer Night’s Dream.

Médoune Seck

Video design

MĂ©doune Seck, born in 1983 in Senegal, studied physics/chemistry and computer science/network management at UniversitĂ© Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar and trained in traditional Senegalese dance with the Fire Fly company. In 2013, he met Helge Letonja at École des Sables and has since assisted with intercontinental productions as well as video work. Since 2015, he has lived in Bremen, supporting the artistic production management at steptext dance project and dancing in the ensemble. He has performed in productions such as Boxom, The Desert, and Zwei Giraffen tanzen Tango, and designed the video for On the Shoulders of Giants and Momentum Zero.

Marie Siekmann

Costume designer and designer

Marie Siekmann is a costume designer and designer currently residing in Bremen. She completed her design studies in 2020 with a Master of Arts degree.As a costume designer, she worked on the film Knochen und Namen by Fabian Stumm, which premiered at the Berlinale 2023, as well as on theater productions at Theaterdiscounter Berlin, Kampnagel Hamburg, Ringlokschuppen MĂŒlheim an der Ruhr, and Schwankhalle Bremen.

Csenge Vass

Fashion and textile designer

Csenge Vass is a Hungarian fashion and textile designer working at the intersection of fashion art and performance. She completed her bachelor’s degree in 2017 at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and the Escuela Superior de Diseño in Spain, focusing on experimental materials. Her thesis, MORPHIGENESIS, combined fashion, textile design, and science. After assisting in Bart Hess’s studio in Eindhoven, she collaborated with choreographer Adrienn HĂłd and other artists. Her performance installation URFORM was created in 2021. For Momentum Zero, she designed costumes for Helge Letonja and OCN for the first time.

Lynn Wright

Composer

Lynn Wright is a composer, lyricist, producer, and musician based in New York. After working as a studio musician in the 1990s and 2000s, he focused on compositions for dance, theater, film, and sound installations. He collaborated with Victoria Miguel on Cage-inspired projects, including an online version of Reunion (1968) for the John Cage Trust. Other collaborations include Mika Zimmerman, Matthew Lusk, Laura Silleras, Raphaele Shirley, Norman Westberg, and Algis Kizys. Since 2009, he has been the resident composer for the ensemble Racoco/RX; their work Tilt tours internationally.
