Keith Chin was born in Malaysia, and completed his dance education at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. As a dancer, he worked with the West Australian Ballet, Tanzcompagnie Gießen, Dance Company Theater Osnabrück and the Danish Dance Theater as well as many freelance projects in Europe. Since finishing his dance career he has worked as a guest teacher, teaching at the Hessisches Staatsballett, Staatsballett Hannover, Friedrichstadtpalast,
